This program contains 6 classes in which you will create 4 unique art projects.Class 1: Pumpkin Lantern - With a clay slab and the help of some texture, we will create a nice table decoration for the holidaysClass 2: Snowfriend - Using pitch pots and handmolding we will create a beautiful decoration for the winterClass 3: Painting SessionClass 4: Candle Holder Gnome - Using templates and slabs to create the base, and sculpting for the gnome, this would make a great gift!Class 5: Santa's Plate - Using slabs and carving, we will create this beautiful plate for the holidaysClass 6: Painting Sessions

Parents report that kids come home from Kids’ Test Kitchen EXCITED about fresh ingredients and new recipes! Reluctant eaters learn that food is safe and fun! And everyone practices essential life skills like teamwork, time management, patience, along with the obvious skills like slicing, measuring, and cooking! On a mission to redefine kid food; Kids’ Test Kitchen’s enthusiastic Facilitators get eaters of all ages and abilities, cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients!Kids’ Test Kitchen presents kids the opportunity to explore new or familiar foods in their raw, unmanipulated state. Then, working as a team, they’ll slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until they’ve prepared the finished dish. Class closes with an opportunity to taste the result of their hard work. Students receive a printed recipe card and the focal ingredient - or a sample of the finished dish - so they can show off what they learned!Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy Kids’ Test Kitchen, where participation is encouraged, and the choice to taste is always one’s own.Lessons are planned to celebrate seasonal produce, whole grains, and legumes.Yes – join us again! Each series of classes offers fresh new recipes to prepare and explore!Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. Adaptive recreation is a program that has been modified to meet the needs of a specific group of participants with varying physical or cognitive disabilities. This could be through equipment, content and rules, structure, support or environment. If you are unsure as to whether or not an Adaptive Recreation program is for your child please contact the Recreation Department at 781-897-5805 before registering. If your child has not participated in an Adaptive program with the Woburn Recreation Department before we will need to you fill out an intake form before your child can attend the program.  October 18th 6pm - 7:00pm - Launch  October 22nd 6pm - 7:30pm - Kings Bowling  *meet at KingsNovember 8th 6pm - 7:30pm -Social Club (Cornhole & Pizza)

Join the Woburn Department for our Family Gingerbread house decorating night! Enjoy a fun filled evening of decorating and designing your own gingerbread house! We supply the assembled house, frosting and candy. Music will be playing and the tables will be set. Just show up with your holiday spirit, decorate your gingerbread house and leave the mess for us! Pizza and water will be provided as well.Please note we have a max of 5 people per family.
